See more by Alice Hoult
Alice has been experimenting with recycling by creating art work on alternatives to brand new paper. These prints are on antique air-mail envelopes creating unique, new pieces of art with real history. Some envelopes are unused, and some have been through the post once upon a time, postmarks dating between 1950 and 1970.
A few still contain letters which are a real treat!
The birds are Barnacle Geese drawn on the Hebridean island of Islay on Scotland’s West coast. They migrate thousands of miles between Scotland and Siberia every year.
Every envelope is different and therefore may not be the same as the print pictured.
