El Tobe (aka Toby Haynes) is an illustrator living in the deepest, darkest corner of Northamptonshire, England. Taking tribal art, folklore and skulls as inspiration his work is dense with pattern and shape and always evolving.
"The majority of my work is drawn first before being worked on digitally but I also paint and enjoy exploring new techniques to enhance my style. While I love the things you can achieve on a computer I like to keep a hand drawn aesthetic to my illustrations as I don't like making them look too computer generated. There is nothing more rewarding than drawing until I lose the feeling in my fingers."
