Part of the edition / power in numbers exhibition from Bodhi Art Gallery, Brick Lane (7th May - 27th of May) this great illustration from Emmi has been hand pulled by James Hurst (Cure Studio) and Fred Higginson (Print Club London) in a limited edition of 50.

Emmi is a graphic design practise, based in a converted gun factory, East London. Set up by Emmi Salonen in 2005, the studio specializes in designs for the art, culture, commerce, academia and organisations, using environmentally sound solutions whenever possible. As well as designing, Emmi Salonen is a sessional tutor at Ravensbourne University and lectures regularly.

Emmi Salonen is originally from Finland. After studying graphic design in Brighton, where she graduated in 2001, she then moved to Italy to work at Fabrica, Benetton’s controversial but prestigious studio for young designers. Emmi went on to earn more professional stripes back in London and New York, where she worked with karlssonwilker – a company known for its witty and clever design. In 2005 she returned to London to set up her own practice.

The print is 50cm by 50cm and has been hand numbered and embossed as a mark of authenticity. It is a limited edition of 50. The paper is Heritage White which is an archival paper and printed in Neptune Inks (which gives this an amazing shine). It will be posted via registered post in a safety tube.
