Part of the edition / power in numbers exhibition from Bodhi Art Gallery, Brick Lane (7th May - 27th of May) this delicate illustration from OK-JO has been hand pulled by James Hurst (Cure Studio) and Fred Higginson (Print Club London) in a limited edition of 50.

OK-JO balances commercial work for Macmillian Publishing, Incisive Media, L'Orial, Southwark Council, D&AD, Time Out (the list goes on!) with a good dose of doodling - we love her work and loved the moment during the show that a few people obliged with her illustrations request; although we never did find out what they were queuing for!

People, mostly want to be part of a pack, a family, a group. Part of something.

Even in situations which are temporary and insignificant, people are drawn to each other.

Like queues.

Do we all have subconscious thoughts which bring us together, do we feel power in numbers will help us proceed, evolve?

Or is it just comfortable?

The print is 50cm by 50cm and has been hand numbered and embossed as a mark of authenticity. It is a limited edition of 50. The paper is Heritage White which is an archival paper and printed in Neptune Inks (which gives this an amazing shine). It will be posted via registered post in a safety tube.
